Storyofagayboy is my main tumblr that I have run for over 2 years now, it is mostly pictures of gay couples and advice. Artofadesignermind is my side blog.
Ladies and gentlemen, #ProjectPhiladelphia is officially a go!
No turning back. Yesterday I spoke with my mother, and a good friend of mine who happens to be the spokesman for my county, they both are sceptically hopeful that I can raise the remaining $1,244.10 of the $3,000 needed, and fly from Atlanta to Philadelphia with enough money for rent and necessities until I can find a minimum wage job in Philly. I will have approximately 2 months from touchdown to do so, so if you are in Philadelphia and can help me find a job, I would be more than infinitely appreciative. Unfortunately, there are only 26/27 days left to reach my $3,000 goal since I am supposed to fly out of here on March 31st or April 1st, that is going to be a tight squeeze, so please spread the word and if you can, donate a dollar or two my way via PayPal - my email is Richardbrannonnews@Yahoo.com. Every donation means a lot to me because it means no only do you believe in me, but you want to help me start a new, better life where I can pursue my dreams of helping others and making a difference. Every reblog also means a lot because I know so many of you want to help but do not have PayPal or the money to donate, but trust me, spreading the word is just as helpful. Every bit of help will be paid forward as soon as I get on my feet. You guys know I am not the type of person to ask for help, but I cannot explain how important it is to get out of here and break this cycle.
So what do you guys think - Can we do it?
P.S. ignore my rubbish appearance today, I need a haircut.
Here is the full idea for a community of tiny houses for those in poverty and homeless, you can see each individual home is in a close circle, an area in the middle that could be a park with a lake and seating area, a community building which has a kitchen/cafeteria, showers, an office area for studying and putting in job applications… think if we could fill this with small families who were homeless, like a mother and two children or a father and his child who just got down on their luck and need a break… think of the children having a sense of normality, a sense of community, they would be able to go to school without worrying about not having a home or food and the parents could focus on getting back on their feet…
